A Space Transformed
The Salvatore Event Center didn’t just host our first Shelby Shines On Christmas Gala…
It transformed.
What began as a gymnasium became a glowing, intimate, dreamlike space that felt nothing short of magical.
Betsy, Joe, and their incredible team took our vision and elevated it beyond what we imagined possible. Every detail was thoughtful. Every moment felt intentional.
We were honored to celebrate Shelby’s life in a place that held that kind of care.
Rolling In Together 🚋
Thanks to Main Street Trolley & Tours, the experience began long before we arrived.
Brad Hill and his team brought guests together—literally—turning the ride into a shared moment of anticipation and connection.
Our driver, Tim, added a little extra charm along the way, sharing fun filming-location facts that made the journey just as memorable as the destination.
Capturing the Moments 📸
Some people work quietly behind the scenes—and somehow capture everything that matters most.
That was Brian Dean.
From shimmer to smiles to unforgettable outfits, every moment was preserved with care and precision.
A Night Designed With Heart ✨
The atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting.
Kaci’s Creations created stunning floral arrangements that made every table feel like its own moment of magic.
Audrey Steffan brought the entire vision to life, designing a glowing wonderland of tables and trees that set the tone for the evening.
Kelley’s Cookies added edible sparkle with beautifully crafted treats (almost too pretty to eat).
The Lumpkin Patch created our very first gala ornament—a keepsake we’ll treasure for years to come.
The One Behind It All 🎭
Every event needs someone steady at the center.
For us, that was Calvin Myers.
Coordinator, visionary, problem-solver—and the official zhuzher of all things—Calvin ensured every detail landed exactly where it needed to.
While the rest of us soaked in the moment, he made the magic happen.
Food, Music & Energy 🎶
The night wouldn’t have been complete without the experience that filled the room.
Trumps Catering delivered a menu that kept guests happy, full, and coming back for more.
DJ Whittles brought the energy. The music was right, the vibe was right, and the dance floor stayed alive all night.
Behind the bar, Chelsea, Russell, and Ansley served up strong drinks and even stronger energy—in full cheetah glam.
A Silent Auction That Made a Difference 💛
Because of the generosity of our community, the silent auction raised nearly $1,700 in support of our mission.
From curated gift baskets to unforgettable experiences—including the crowd-favorite Highland Cow encounter—every item helped turn generosity into impact.
